"In the coming time, the textile and garment industry continues to be assessed as having many development opportunities because Vietnam is participating in many free trade agreements and the shift in the global textile and garment supply chain. To promote and seize opportunities, textile and garment enterprises wish to form joint ventures, call for investment, promote training to improve skills and attract workers, improve quality management, labor, environment, and complete the textile and garment supply chain according to international standards," said Ms. Phan Le Diem Trang.
Seize opportunities effectively

Mr. Pham Trung Nghia also noted that enterprises need to effectively exploit opportunities in the markets of countries participating in free trade agreements with Vietnam, especially the European Union (EU), Canada, Mexico, Israel and pay close attention to the issue of origin of goods (C/O) and sustainable development.
Mr. Pham Trung Nghia, Deputy Chief of Office of the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee for International Economic Integration (Ministry of Industry and Trade): “For the business community, it is necessary to proactively and actively seek information on commitments on international economic integration; focus on learning and grasping information about the market, tax reduction roadmap and issues related to their business products to have appropriate strategies to adjust production, business and competition in order to take advantage of the opportunities brought about by the free trade agreements that Vietnam participates in. |
