To proactively respond and minimize damage, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has issued a document requesting localities to continue to closely monitor weather developments, rainfall, water levels on rivers, streams, and canals to have timely treatment plans; proactively drain water for crops in a timely manner; mobilize forces and means to dredge and clear the intra-field canal system, especially at bottlenecks and pumping stations; operate pumping stations and drainage sluices to quickly drain water, protect rice and crops; direct farmers to regularly inspect their fields to promptly detect localized flooding, fallen plants, root rot, etc. for timely treatment; provide guidance on measures to care for and restore crops after flooding and strengthen inspection and prevention of pests and diseases arising after rain, etc.
It is known that the planned area for summer-autumn rice planting in 2025 in the whole province is 14,500 hectares, the area for regenerated rice is 8,000 hectares. Currently, the whole province has planted 14,250 hectares of summer-autumn rice; of which, Quang Trach 3,100 hectares, Le Thuy 1,690 hectares, Quang Ninh 3,100 hectares, Bo Trach 2,300 hectares, Ba Don town 2,050 hectares...
