Implementing good infection control, preventing cross-infection and preventing outbreaks in medical examination and treatment facilities. Propagating and instructing patients and those who support patient care to implement disease prevention measures at medical facilities.

The Provincial Center for Disease Control closely monitors the epidemic situation in the area, strengthens the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures at medical facilities and in the community. Closely coordinates with the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City to proactively and regularly analyze the situation and assess risks to propose and implement appropriate, timely and effective epidemic prevention and control measures; conducts representative sampling at epidemic outbreaks, especially severe cases for testing to identify variants and monitor the spread of the epidemic. Coordinates with local media agencies, newspapers and grassroots communication systems to strengthen communication on epidemic prevention and control. Develops and updates documents, products and communication messages on epidemic prevention and control in accordance with the customs, practices and languages ​​of each locality.

Coordinate and guide management units at tourist, entertainment, shopping centers, public places, industrial parks to organize propaganda and recommendations on implementing personal disease prevention measures (wearing masks in public places, on public transport, at medical facilities; limiting gatherings in crowded places if not necessary; washing hands regularly with clean water, soap or antiseptic solution; when having symptoms of fever, cough, difficulty breathing, go immediately to the nearest medical facility for timely examination, monitoring and treatment...).

In coordination with Lam Dong General Hospital, Lam Dong Children's Hospital organized training courses to improve the capacity of medical staff in monitoring, detecting, investigating people with infectious diseases, monitoring pathogens, measures to handle outbreaks, instructions for diagnosis, treatment, emergency, intensive care and patient care...
