According to the warning bulletin of the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, on the morning of May 19, the convective cloud area continued to develop strongly in the East - Northeast region, causing showers and thunderstorms. Implementing Official Dispatch No. 197/VP-PCTT dated May 18, 2025 of the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee on responding to heavy rain in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An . Proactively mobilize forces and means to carry out disaster recovery work (if any); be ready to arrange food and necessities to promptly support and rescue people when situations arise.

Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Thanh Hoa Radio and Television increase the time of reporting and articles on the developments and situations of thunderstorms and accompanying natural disasters; districts, towns and cities direct specialized departments, People's Committees of communes, wards and towns and related units, especially the grassroots information system, to increase propaganda, dissemination and guidance for people on how to recognize and respond to thunderstorms and accompanying natural disasters to minimize damage.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station closely monitors, forecasts, warns, and promptly provides information on thunderstorms and other natural disasters to proactively deploy response measures.

Regularly synthesize and report the situation to the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Civil Defense, Disaster Response and Search and Rescue.
