In Bluk Blui village, Ia Ka commune, 4 poor and near-poor ethnic minority households were given 4 24-month-old breeding cows, weighing from 170 - 190kg/cow.
Before the handover, representatives of relevant parties such as: District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Agricultural Service Center, Commune People's Committee, Head of Community Group of Breeding Cows in Bluk Blui village..., conducted appraisal, measured the weight and quality of cows according to regulations to hand over to ethnic minority households that benefited from the Project.
When implementing the Project, the People's Committee of Ia Ka Commune surveyed and reviewed the beneficiaries. Most of the poor and near-poor households in the commune have little land for production, so they chose the project to support breeding cows to create sustainable livelihoods. This is a direction that is suitable for reality, because some poor households have escaped poverty thanks to support for breeding cows. The People's Committee of the commune assigned specialized staff and village heads to regularly inspect, supervise, and provide technical guidance to poor and near-poor households to take good care of cows so that they can soon escape poverty.
