(NLDO) - Tan Dong Hiep Ward Public Administration Service Center needs to shorten the time for receiving land records to better serve the people.

On July 25, the HCM City People's Council survey delegation led by Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the HCM City People's Council had a working session on the organization and operation of Tan Dong Hiep ward.

The new Tan Dong Hiep Ward was established on the basis of merging Tan Binh Ward and Dong Thanh, Dong An, Tan An neighborhoods of Tan Dong Hiep Ward; Ba Dinh, Tan Ba, My Hiep, Tan My neighborhoods of Thai Hoa Ward (Tan Uyen City, old Binh Duong Province).

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council was very happy to see people coming to the Public Administration Service Center being served free snacks and drinks. Mr. Minh met and asked some people about the work of submitting documents and administrative procedures.

According to the Tan Dong Hiep Ward Public Administration Service Center, on average, it receives more than 200 applications per day in many fields such as land, insurance, household registration, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huy - Chairman of Tan Dong Hiep Ward People's Committee said that immediately after implementing the organization of two-level local government, the Ward People's Committee has deployed many solutions to enhance the application of science and technology to serve management, administration and people's lives.

According to Mr. Huy, the ward's Public Administration Service Center and specialized departments are scientifically arranged and invested in information systems to help improve the efficiency of document processing, shorten processing time and increase transparency in handling administrative procedures, saving time for people.

The Chairman of Tan Dong Hiep Ward People's Committee also presented some difficulties and problems that the locality is facing in resolving administrative procedures for the people.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh highly appreciated the activities of the Tan Dong Hiep Ward Public Administration Service Center, which made people happy and satisfied.

The unit has arranged a model of care for people, although not large, it is very meaningful and needs to be maintained.

However, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council also requested Tan Dong Hiep ward to come up with a plan to coordinate with units to shorten the time to process land records, and to streamline it compared to the time before the merger to serve the people.
