The President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is a particularly important historical and cultural relic of Vietnam, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked for the last 15 years of his life. This is also the place where many relics, documents, and original artifacts associated with his life and career are preserved.

Walking around the relic site, President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka visited places associated with the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh such as the stilt house, fish pond, admired the bronze statue of "Uncle Ho working in the garden of the Presidential Palace" and artifacts filled with memories of the leader of the Vietnamese people.

Sharing with Sri Lankan President Anura, President Luong Cuong affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh is the most beautiful symbol of patriotism and revolutionary heroism of Vietnam. He devoted his whole life to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.

The Sri Lankan leader also heard about the history of Uncle Ho's stilt house, where he lived and worked. Although he was the highest leader and leader of the nation, Uncle Ho still chose to live and work in a simple stilt house.

The house was built in the style of stilt houses of ethnic minorities in Viet Bac, the place that accompanied him during the 9 years of resistance against French colonialism.

The documents and artifacts displayed here fully, clearly and truthfully depict his life, thoughts, ethics and working style.

Moved by the simple but meaningful space, reflecting the pure, humble lifestyle and great thoughts of President Ho Chi Minh , Sri Lankan President Anura expressed his respect and admiration for President Ho Chi Minh.

He affirmed that he had inspired the movement for independence and freedom around the world , and was proud of Sri Lanka's solidarity with Vietnam in the revolutionary struggle.

During his visit to the relic site, the Sri Lankan leader also signed the guest book and was personally awarded the Uncle Ho badge by President Luong Cuong.

He sincerely thanked the warm and respectful reception that the Vietnamese State and people, and President Luong Cuong personally, had given him during his visit to Vietnam.
