National Assembly Chairman attends the ceremony to announce and present the resolution on personnel work

On the afternoon of September 30, at the National Assembly House, the National Assembly Standing Committee held a ceremony to announce and present the resolution on personnel work. Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the ceremony.

In Resolution No. 1845/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 30, 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to approve Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Delegation Affairs of the 15th National Assembly.

In Resolution No. 1846/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 30, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Quang Manh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee of the National Assembly to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly; assigning direction and management of the activities of the Office of the National Assembly, performing the tasks of the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly until the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly is completed.

Presenting resolutions to approved and appointed comrades and delivering a speech assigning tasks, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man congratulated the new Permanent Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Huu Dong and the new Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh on being trusted and assigned to new positions by the Politburo and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The National Assembly Chairman pointed out that the two comrades have held many important positions and positions during their work and have extensive experience, highly appreciated by the Party and State leaders.

From now until the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, there are many important tasks, including preparing for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly - a session with a huge workload, passing about 50 laws and resolutions; preparing for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. In addition, the National Assembly is preparing activities towards the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026); preparing for the work towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Emphasizing that the responsibilities of the two comrades in the coming time are very heavy, the National Assembly Chairman hopes that the new Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee for Delegation Affairs and the new Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office will maximize their experience in the field of work; unite with agencies and units, join hands and be unanimous; strive to continue to excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

On behalf of the approved and appointed comrades, the new Permanent Deputy Head of the Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Huu Dong expressed his honor to be entrusted with the new task by the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The new Standing Vice Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee affirmed that he will seriously accept the direction and assigned tasks of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; continue to practice and cultivate revolutionary ethics, actively study and improve knowledge and professional expertise; firmly uphold the principles of Party building; maintain solidarity and unity, together with the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Delegation Affairs Committee, strive to successfully fulfill the political tasks assigned by the Party and State.

Emphasizing that this is a great honor but also a very heavy responsibility, the new Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Huu Dong hopes to continue to receive the attention, help, leadership and regular direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, leaders of the National Assembly, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the coordination, support and assistance of the Committees, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Office, the ministries, departments and central branches; the cooperation and support from leaders, officials and civil servants of the Delegation Affairs Committee to successfully complete the assigned tasks./.
