On the morning of June 6, the National Assembly began the question and answer session at the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In his opening speech, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the question and answer session will take place over 2.5 days and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and National Assembly Television for voters and people to follow. The content of the question and answer session focuses on 4 groups of issues in the fields of state management of the Ministries: Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Science and Technology, Transport and the Ethnic Committee.

At the end of the question-and-answer session, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai will, on behalf of the Government, report and clarify issues of concern to National Assembly deputies and directly answer questions from National Assembly deputies. At the closing session, the National Assembly will consider and vote to pass the Resolution on question-and-answer activities to serve as a basis for agencies to organize implementation, and for National Assembly agencies and National Assembly deputies to supervise the implementation. The National Assembly Chairman stated that, with the motto of continuing to innovate methods and ways of organizing question-and-answer sessions, the National Assembly Standing Committee has directed the National Assembly Secretary General and agencies to deploy preparations very early so that the selection of question-and-answer groups is thorough, careful, and in accordance with the law, closely following the key tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, resolutions and directives of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo , and the Secretariat; closely following practical issues raised; reflecting the thoughts, aspirations, and wishes of the people and voters. The four groups of issues selected for questioning at this session are major, important issues, not only necessary and urgent in the short term, but also of strategic and long-term significance. In particular, the Ministers of Science and Technology, Transport, and the Ethnic Committee answered questions from the 15th National Assembly for the first time. Accordingly, the questioning and answering of questions are conducted in a quick question and answer manner: National Assembly deputies raise questions for no more than 1 minute; debates for no more than 2 minutes each time; the person being questioned answers for no more than 3 minutes for each question. Government members and relevant sector heads participate in explanations under the direction of the Chair to clarify the questions of National Assembly deputies or directly answer questions in the group of questions.

To ensure the effectiveness of the question-and-answer session, the National Assembly Chairman requested that National Assembly deputies consider and select, each time they question, only raise one or a few issues that the deputies are most interested in; ask questions concisely and clearly so that the Ministers and Heads of sectors can hear and understand as quickly as possible. At the same time, only debate with the person being questioned to clarify the issue being questioned, do not use the right to debate to raise questions or debate with the National Assembly deputies who have previously questioned.

Thereby, not only contributing to timely solving current and urgent issues, but also identifying and proposing solutions to fundamental and long-term problems, creating substantive changes in each field being questioned. With the spirit of working with utmost concentration, dedication, frankness, openness, and strict compliance with the regulations of the National Assembly Session Rules, the National Assembly Chairman expressed his belief that the question and answer session will be a great success, meeting the practical requirements and expectations of voters and people. Immediately after the opening speech of the question and answer session by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the 15th National Assembly conducted questioning on the first group of issues in the field of labor, war invalids and social affairs.
