Chairman of Cho Moi District People's Committee inspects progress of key projects and temporary housing elimination program

Chairman of Cho Moi District People's Committee Cu Minh Trong inspected the school construction and the construction progress of temporary and dilapidated houses.

Specifically, the Chairman of the District People's Committee inspected the construction of My An "A" Primary School and Duong Binh Giang Secondary School (An Thanh Trung Commune); Hoi An belt road - a project with a total investment of 149 billion VND, 3.7km long, 15m wide road surface. At the same time, he inspected the construction progress of 3 houses under construction for poor households in Hoa Binh Commune; worked with the leaders of My An Commune to urge and remove obstacles, ensuring the progress of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Currently, the whole district has 225 households of meritorious people, poor households, and near-poor households that need support to build new or repair houses, with a total cost of 11.1 billion VND. To date, 221 households have been built or repaired houses, reaching 98.22% of the plan. Particularly, the group of meritorious people has completed 65 houses (7 newly built houses, 58 repaired houses), reaching 98.48%, with a total cost of 2.726 billion VND; poor and disadvantaged households have completed 143 houses, the remaining 13 houses are under construction, expected to be completed before May 30, 2025. In addition to the list of people receiving support from the budget, localities have mobilized social capital to build 39 more houses (35 newly built houses, 4 repaired houses).
