Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi assessed: After nearly a month of implementing the two-level local government, we have basically completed the socio -economic tasks well. However, the socio -economic situation of the province in July and the last 5 months of the year still has many very important goals; in which, there are many tasks decided by the Department of Finance.

This is a very important meeting, because the Department of Finance is the agency responsible for three important indicators of socio-economic development, which are growth, disbursement of public investment capital and budget collection. These are indicators that Lam Dong has not achieved, although leaders and civil servants have worked very hard (including on holidays)... The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that responsibilities be clarified to overcome shortcomings and clear up stagnation...

The report of the Department of Finance presented by Director Phan The Hanh said: The Department of Finance has 193 civil servants. According to Appointment decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department has 1 Director and 11 Deputy Directors. The number of civil servants expected to continue working is 166/193 people, the number of civil servants wishing to retire from the 178 regime is 27/193 officer.

The Department has developed a plan to temporarily arrange 11 department heads and 35 deputy department heads to promptly carry out assigned tasks.
