Commune People's Committee Chairman was dismissed due to violations

Accordingly, Mr. Truong Minh Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Truong Commune was disciplined by being dismissed from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Truong Commune for the 2021-2026 term; Mr. Truong Quang Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the Commune was disciplined by being warned.

Previously, the Inspection Committee of Hai Lang District Party Committee met to review and enforce party discipline against Mr. Truong Minh Dong and Mr. Truong Quang Minh.

The Hai Lang District Party Committee's Inspection Commission found that Mr. Truong Minh Dong, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Truong Commune, had shortcomings and violations in leadership, management and operation, and lack of inspection in confirming the origin, time and process of land use, leading to improper payments; Poor management of public land fund (5%), improper confirmation of origin and time of land use, leading to improper payment of compensation and support for site clearance to the wrong subjects and in violation of regulations, causing serious consequences.

At the request of the District Party Committee's Inspection Commission, the Standing Committee of Hai Lang District Party Committee has carried out the process of reviewing and enforcing discipline and decided to discipline Mr. Truong Minh Dong by removing him from the position of Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Regarding Mr. Truong Quang Minh, although he knew that the confirmation of the origin, time, and process of land use was not in accordance with regulations, Mr. Minh did not advise on the correct implementation of regulations but instead accepted the authorization to chair a meeting between individuals living in the land clearance area to discuss, mobilize, and agree on the use of compensation and support money not in accordance with regulations.

In the process of performing assigned tasks, Mr. Minh met and mobilized people to exercise rights and obligations in violation of the law, causing serious consequences.

For the above violations, the Hai Lang District Party Committee's Inspection Commission has decided to discipline Mr. Truong Quang Minh with a warning.
