In 2024, the Center proactively developed a plan to implement tasks and assigned targets to specialized departments. Focus on understanding the demand for labor in enterprises and labor supply to promote the connection between market supply and demand. Promote information dissemination on the website, applications on information technology platforms such as Facebook and Zalo, which are of interest to many enterprises and employees; enterprises inside and outside the province post labor recruitment, and employees access to learn about the labor market is increasing. 18,615 people were consulted on labor and employment policies, of which 8,658 people were consulted on employment, reaching 144% of the plan; 739 people were introduced to jobs, supplied through the Center (679 people domestically, 60 people abroad). 85 people registered to take the exam under the EPS program (granting employment permits for foreign workers working in Korea); career guidance for 1,000 students.
To effectively provide labor market information, the Center has many specific solutions: maintain close relationships with enterprises inside and outside the province to learn about recruitment needs, exploit job information to advise employees to find suitable jobs; hang billboards with information about the labor market and related policies in districts and cities; periodically send monthly labor recruitment notices to communes, wards and towns in the province. Organize job fairs, conferences to propagate labor policies, employment, and labor market information. In 2024, preside over the organization of provincial-level job fairs, 8 job fairs, 2 district-level job fairs, 14 career orientation conferences, 45 job consultation and introduction conferences. In which, from the source of implementing Sub-project 3 "supporting sustainable employment" under Project 4 of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction and Sub-project 3 "Project on developing vocational education and creating jobs for workers in ethnic minority and mountainous areas" under Project 5 of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, organizing job fairs and career orientation counseling in the City with 17 enterprises, 870 students, students and workers participating; 5 job fairs in the communes: Dam Thuy, Doai Duong (Trung Khanh), Ly Quoc (Ha Lang), Ca Thanh (Nguyen Binh), Thai Son (Bao Lam) with 750 participants. 29 conferences on consulting and introducing jobs for 2,228 people in communes in the province and conferences for soldiers and police officers who have completed their service; 2 job fairs at schools: Luc Khu High School, Na Giang High School, Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center (Ha Quang) with 400 participants; 14 specialized conferences on propaganda and career counseling at high schools in the districts: Ha Lang, Trung Khanh, Quang Hoa, Ha Quang, Nguyen Binh, Hoa An, Thach An, Bao Lam with 1,820 participants. From the Unemployment Insurance Fund, 3 job fairs were organized in Thach An district with 450 workers participating; 16 conferences on propaganda of employment policies, labor market information, labor counseling and recruitment in the districts: Bao Lam, Ha Quang, Quang Hoa, Thach An, Bao Lac with 1,200 workers participating.
The Center receives applications and resolves unemployment insurance benefits for 100% of workers who come to register and meet the conditions according to the Law on Employment and its guiding documents. 2,916 workers have submitted applications for unemployment insurance; advised the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to issue decisions on unemployment benefits for 2,855 people, the amount transferred to the social insurance agency to pay unemployment benefits is over 41 billion VND.
In the first quarter of 2025 alone, the Center organized 13 regular job fairs, providing labor and employment policy advice to 1,663 people; introduced domestic jobs to 56 people; thereby, 140 workers found jobs and vocational training associated with employment through the Center's information channels. Coordinated with Brother Industrial Co., Ltd. to organize 8 job consultation and introduction conferences in communes of Quang Hoa district; collected information on labor needs for 107 employers. From the job fairs, many workers in rural, remote and isolated areas can easily access job information, vocational training and clearly understand the processes and procedures for working in industrial parks at home and abroad.
Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center Dang Thi Long Bien said: Every year, the Center regularly updates information on the domestic and foreign labor market to advise and guide workers; exploits information on the labor market inside and outside the province, and businesses with stable labor needs. Closely coordinates with local authorities and the Department of Internal Affairs of districts and cities to organize mobile job fairs, conferences to disseminate labor market information; maintains online job fairs with the northern provinces; regularly posts "jobs looking for people" on the Center's websites, Facebook, and Zalo to bring information to workers. Strengthens information and propaganda about overseas workers in localities, especially poor districts...; promptly answers questions about job information, labor policies, vocational training and finding new jobs, connecting workers and businesses in localities inside and outside the province. Closely follow enterprises to grasp the needs of recruitment and use of labor to have orientations for vocational training; pay attention to consulting, supporting vocational training, career conversion suitable for employees; regularly collect information, analyze, evaluate, and forecast the labor market to provide timely human resources for enterprises. Promote propaganda on overseas jobs, support policies for employees to participate, choose and apply; screen, advise, orient career, vocational training for employees receiving unemployment benefits to help them return to the labor market soon. Do a good job of information and propaganda on unemployment insurance regimes and policies. Resolve unemployment insurance benefits for 100% of employees who meet the requirements according to regulations.
