ASEANSAI was established in November 2011 in Bali, Indonesia. Over the past 15 years of establishment and development, ASEANSAI has gradually affirmed its role as a reliable and dynamic cooperation forum among supreme audit institutions (SAIs) in the ASEAN region.
Since its establishment, through the implementation of phased Strategic Plans, ASEANSAI has continuously strived to enhance institutional capacity, promote knowledge exchange and actively contribute to improving public governance in the region.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Nguyen Ba Dung reported on the work plan, travel schedule, as well as assigned specific tasks to each member of the Working Group.
It is known that at the Congress, the State Audit of Vietnam will chair 3/10 agenda items: Approval of the ASEANSAI Annual Results Report 2025 of the ASEANSAI Committees and Secretariat; Approval of the ASEANSAI Strategic Plan 2026-2029; Work plan of the ASEANSAI Strategic Plan Committee for the period 2026-2027.
In his concluding remarks, Deputy State Auditor General Doan Anh Tho highly agreed with the working schedule and draft assignment of tasks for each member of the Delegation. At the same time, he requested each member of the Delegation to be proactive and comply with the schedule to ensure the smooth and successful working trip.
The Deputy State Auditor General also highly appreciated the careful preparation of the Department of International Cooperation and requested the departments to continue reviewing and perfecting the contents and documents to best serve the delegation's working trip.
As planned, the business trip will take place from November 11-14, 2025.
