The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam will organize "Ghibli Music Night" - program number 24 in the garden concert series, performed by Hanoi Ensemble & Friends on the evening of March 15.
Hanoi Ensemble is a chamber music group founded in 2010 by young artists and lecturers from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. They have studied in Vietnam and at prestigious conservatories around the world.
The group's members have won many prestigious domestic and international music awards. The group has participated in many concerts, music festivals as well as cultural exchange programs at home and abroad.
In Garden Concert No. 24, Hanoi Ensemble and Friends will introduce to Hanoi audiences a special musical collection from the lovely animated films of Studio Ghibli from Japan.
The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange's outdoor chamber music concert series is organized with the desire to contribute to diverse musical activities in Hanoi by introducing Japanese and international musical works performed by outstanding Vietnamese artists.
Before the show, the audience can participate in the activity of making figurines of funny animals, as well as interact and listen to stories about figurines from Meritorious Artist - Figurine Artist Dang Van Khang.
Admission is free, registration required.
