Final of the 2025 National Singing Contest for People with Disabilities: Lam Dong Group won Third Prize

(LĐ online) - After 2 days in Hanoi, the Final Round of the 3rd National Singing Contest for People with Disabilities in 2025 with the theme "Singing from the Heart" organized by the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has ended.

Lam Dong delegation won third prize overall.

The contest was attended by 136 singers, actors, artisans, and artists with disabilities from 13 provincial and municipal delegations, representing the 3 regions who passed the competition round in the 3 regions of North - Central - South taking place in May 2025.

31 outstanding performances were carefully prepared, staged, rehearsed, and closely followed the theme of the contest, and performed with dedication. This not only demonstrated creativity, uniqueness, and vividly reflected the cultural and spiritual life of people with disabilities; but also conveyed in each song and voice dreams, aspirations, and love of life from the heart.

As the unit that won the first prize in the Central Highlands region, Lam Dong delegation brought to the final round of the National Singing Contest for the Disabled. The performance program included 3 pieces that were choreographed, staged, vocally and carefully rehearsed, praising the beautiful homeland and national pride. Specifically, it included: Medley Country - Melody of the Fatherland (Pham Minh Tuan - Tran Tien, performing as a male and female choir); Far Away Region (Duc Trinh, female solo); Forever the Heroic City (Kieu Viet Loc, singing and dancing for the whole group).

Lam Dong Group brought home many awards for performances and group awards.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 7 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and 14 Encouragement Prizes to 31 participating performances; the First Prize for the whole delegation went to the Ho Chi Minh City delegation; 2 Second Prizes for the Binh Thuan and Quang Ninh delegations; and Third Prizes for the delegations: Lam Dong, Da Nang, Thai Nguyen.

Lam Dong delegation was also honored to be one of 7 delegations to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee as an active participant in the Contest.
