On the evening of April 28, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training coordinated with Hanoi Radio and Television to organize the final round of the 2nd Hanoi High School Band/Music Group Festival - 2025 with the theme "Building Happy Schools".

Attending the program were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha.
The event was attended by the Chief Representative of UNESCO in Vietnam, Mr. Jonathan Wallace Baker.

In his opening speech, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong emphasized that the Capital's Education and Training sector always attaches importance to comprehensive education of "morality - intelligence - physical fitness - aesthetics" for students. The 2nd Festival of high school student bands/groups in Hanoi is an activity to pay tribute to the past and look to the future; demonstrating the interest of the Capital's Education and Training sector in creating a healthy playground, helping students maximize their abilities.
The festival received enthusiastic response and participation from students, support from parents and favorable conditions from schools. From April 14 to April 16, the preliminary round of the festival was held at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted with the participation of 37 student bands/groups from public, private and foreign-invested high schools in the city, performing 74 performances. The organizing committee selected 7 best bands/groups to participate in the final round.
Sending congratulations to the students who had the opportunity to show their abilities and passion on stage, Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong wished the students attending the Festival to be calm, confident, and to develop their talents to shine.

Tonight is a beautiful mark in their musical journey. Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates, teachers, students, and parents enjoyed the performances participating in the final round of the 2nd Hanoi High School Band/Group Festival in 2025.

The performances come from bands of 7 schools: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Binh Minh High School, Viet Duc High School, Olympia Middle School & High School, Phan Dinh Phung High School, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Phan Huy Chu - Dong Da High School.
