(Dan Tri) - VIX and GEX stocks both hit the floor, among the stocks with the most negative impact on the general index.

Today's trading session (October 30), the market opened in green but could not maintain it in the afternoon. At the end of the session, VN-Index fell more than 16 points, to 1,669.57 points. Liquidity on the HoSE floor continued to be gloomy, remaining above VND23,800 billion.

In this session, 5 stocks on the HoSE floor hit the floor, most notably VIX and GEX. Both of these codes are in the group of stocks that have the most negative impact on the general index.

VIX shares of VIX Securities Company fell to the limit, down to 29,300 VND/unit with a transaction value of nearly 1,961 billion VND. GEX shares of Gelex Group Joint Stock Company also fell similarly, down to 47,350 VND/unit. Liquidity of this code reached 852 billion VND.

The index's decline was also affected by large-cap stocks such as VIC, LPB, VPB, TCB, MBB, HPG...

On the contrary, the HoSE floor today also witnessed 8 stocks hitting the ceiling price such as DAT, VTB, TDG... Notably, some stocks hit the ceiling price for 2 consecutive sessions such as LDG, DLG, KHG, DRH...

Foreign investors continued to net sell 1,161 billion VND today. Codes that were strongly net sold include VIX, GEX, MBB, SSI, CII, HPG...
