Welcoming the SGGP delegation were Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thi Anh Thao, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vo Ngoc Sy, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training and leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Office. On the side of SGGP Newspaper, there were Deputy Editor-in-Chief Bui Thi Hong Suong and representatives of departments and offices.

At the presentation ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong said that after the National Assembly passed the Resolution on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025, SGGP Newspaper signed a cooperation agreement with the Center for Geospatial Data Infrastructure (Department of Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information of Vietnam - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) to receive the national geographic database at a scale of 1/4,500,000, serving the editing and publishing of maps of Vietnam - provincial-level administrative units. Immediately after that, SGGP Newspaper coordinated with sponsors to print and distribute 100,000 maps to give to readers; and at the same time, donated maps to 168 wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City.
The printing and giving of maps aims to help people, agencies and units access official information sources on the arrangement of administrative boundaries of provinces and cities according to Resolution 202/2025/QH15.

To continue the program, SGGP Newspaper continues to coordinate with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam ( Agribank ) to implement the program "Giving away the country's map - Proud of the country's mark" with the slogan "The Fatherland in the heart - The map in the hand" to expand the giving to the leaders of 34 provinces and cities and readers nationwide.
"Gia Lai is the first locality that SGGP Newspaper chose to launch the program. On this occasion, SGGP Newspaper sent 26 large-sized maps (70x100cm, printed on wood, stainless steel frame) to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and departments and branches of the province", Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong informed.
The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper also informed about the plan of two social security programs “Lighting up the faith – Overcoming difficulties to go to school” and “Warm clothes to go to school” in Gia Lai. On December 2, the working group and sponsors will present hundreds of gifts, scholarships and warm clothes to students of Cat Tuong Secondary School (Xuan An Commune).

Previously, on November 1, 2025, the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" presented the "Green Library" and "School toilet" projects to My Cat Primary School (An Luong commune), along with 31 scholarships and 456 warm clothes for disadvantaged students, with a total value of 320 million VND.
According to Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong, after more than two years of implementation, the program has mobilized more than 32 billion VND, implemented at 33 schools in 19 provinces and cities. In addition, SGGP Newspaper continues to launch the program "Warm clothes to school" to support health care for students in difficult areas. Each shirt is a sharing, a support for children to go to class safer and warmer.


Continue to spread humanistic values and responsibility
During the reception, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang acknowledged the constant companionship of SGGP Newspaper throughout the province's development process. He said that over the years, SGGP Newspaper has promptly disseminated the activities of governments at all levels, creating social consensus; at the same time, there have been both praise and encouragement articles as well as profound criticism articles, but all of which are constructive, contributing to transparency in government activities and enhancing democracy in social life.

Thanking the meaningful gift from SGGP Newspaper, comrade Lam Hai Giang emphasized that the Vietnam 2025 map awarded has special value in the context of the province having just completed the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and commune levels and ended the operation of district-level government to operate a 2-level local government model.
The Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is an arrangement that requires great efforts from the entire system. The new map helps Gia Lai clearly identify the arrangement results, while strengthening the sense of responsibility of all levels and sectors in implementing the major policies of the Party and State.
The Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee also highly appreciated the social and charitable activities of SGGP Newspaper, especially supporting students in the context of the locality being heavily affected by storm No. 13 and the historic flood. He said that the gifts from SGGP Newspaper are a practical source of encouragement, adding strength to help students and people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
