National target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas

Some outstanding results of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period.

The national conference to review the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period and orientation of content for the 2026-2030 period was held directly at the Government Headquarters and online with 34 provinces and cities nationwide on August 13, 2025.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the Conference. According to resolutions of the National Assembly and the Government, the total capital to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period is more than 137,000 billion VND. After 5 years of implementation, 6 groups of basic tasks have achieved or exceeded the set plan./.
