Program to visit and learn about startup models of youth union members

BHG - From May 7 to 9, Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Plan Ha Giang Office to organize a program to visit and learn about start-up models and create livelihoods for union members and young people in Ha Giang city, Bac Quang and Vi Xuyen districts. Participating in the program were union officials and leaders of several communes in 7 districts of Dong Van, Yen Minh, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Vi Xuyen, Ha Giang City.

During the 3 days, the delegates visited the following models: Rabbit and bamboo rat farming of member Nguyen Tien Dung in Vi Xuyen town (Vi Xuyen); Nova green squash growing model of member Pham Van Tuyen, Vinh Son village, Vinh Hao commune; sturgeon farming model of member Trieu Y Va, Tan Thanh commune (Bac Quang); some homestays in Chang village, Phuong Thien commune; Mrs. Dung's humpbacked banh chung cooperative in Ban Tuy village, Ngoc Duong commune (Ha Giang city).

Through the program, young people can access good and effective models and practices of localities in the province. This is also an opportunity to exchange and learn experiences in starting a business and creating livelihoods among young people. Thereby, gradually renewing thinking, uniting the collective, developing and building effective economic models, and rising out of poverty.
