BHG - On the morning of May 8, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to collect opinions on the Project to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the Fatherland Front, mass organizations and associations assigned by the Party and State at the provincial and communal levels. Attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Fatherland Front Standing Committee and socio-political organizations and mass organizations of the province.

After organizing the first conference to collect opinions on the draft project, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee directed the team assisting the Editorial Board to synthesize and edit the content closely following the instructions of the Central Committee. In particular, the draft project comprehensively assessed the necessity of the arrangement, the bases for implementation and regulations on functions, tasks, organizational structure; number of staff, labor contracts, headquarters, equipment, financial situation of the Fatherland Front system, socio-political organizations at all levels. The principle of implementing the merger of the advisory and support agencies with the provincial Fatherland Front agency; maintaining the legal status of socio-political organizations and mass organizations to ensure effective, proactive and creative operations. Specifically, it is expected to be organized into 10 departments and units (equivalent to the department level) including: Office; Inspection Organization Department; Democracy, supervision and social criticism Department; Propaganda and social work Department; Trade union work department; Farmers' Working Committee; Youth and Children's Working Committee; Women's Working Committee; Veterans' Working Committee; Mass Association Working Committee.

At the conference, delegates agreed and appreciated the necessity of the project and contributed ideas to the arrangement and streamlining plan such as: Changing the phrase "mass organizations" to "socio-political organizations" in the project name to comply with regulations and be appropriate; need to clearly define the activities of the center under the Provincial Youth Union after the arrangement; clearly determine the time schedule for project implementation; the construction of the Party organization after the arrangement; need to clarify the arrangement of contract staff of mass organization units...
Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Department of Home Affairs have provided opinions and answered some of the delegates' questions. At the same time, they requested that socio-political organizations and mass organizations continue to participate thoroughly and responsibly in the content of their units' arrangement plans. They should strengthen the information system and promptly exchange with the project's Editorial Board to edit and supplement opinions.
