According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - President of Prestige DMC Vietnam Company, this is a charter flight from Tashkent (Uzbekistan) to Da Nang with the coordination between units including: Prestige DMC Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited, Red Island Company, Centrium - Air Airways, and Prestige Travel Uzbekistan.
In the initial phase, the flight will be operated with a frequency of 1 flight/week. It is expected that from June 2025, it will be increased to 2 flights/week.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, opening more flights from Tashkent affirms the great attraction of Da Nang tourism and opens up opportunities to welcome new visitors from the potential region.
Da Nang promotes tourism in Kazakhstan
From April 23 to 25, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City participated in the KITF International Tourism Fair in Kazakhstan to promote destinations, introduce tourism products and connect partners from the CIS market (Commonwealth of Independent States including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan).
The tourism market of CIS countries, especially from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, is growing very rapidly. The opening of the route from Tashkent to Da Nang has increased the total number of flights from the CIS region (Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan) to Da Nang to 11 flights/week.
It is expected that from June 3, Air Astana will start operating flights from Almaty (Kazakhstan) to Da Nang with a frequency of 4 flights/week.
