The Quang Ngai Provincial Tax Department is implementing the conversion of tax payment from lump-sum to declaration for business households, with the goal of completing before January 1, 2026. Records in the central wards of the western region of the province show that propaganda work is being deployed synchronously to create consensus among taxpayers.

At Duy Tan market, Dak Cam ward, many traders were initially concerned about the procedures and the possibility of increased tax rates when switching from the lump sum method to the declaration method. However, through direct guidance from tax officials, traders have clearly understood the benefits of the new form, especially the ability to proactively monitor revenue and pay taxes more transparently.

The central wards in the West currently have more than 5,600 business households. With a large number and wide area, Tax Department 7 has increased propaganda, organized conferences to guide declaration procedures, and promoted the use of electronic invoices and Etax Mobile application. Thereby, many problems of business households have been resolved right at the facility.

To date, more than 30% of business households in the area have received direct support for the conversion. The Provincial Tax Department aims to complete the conversion before December 20, 2025, creating a foundation for a modern, transparent and fair tax management model.
