Applying information technology not only improves the efficiency of adjudication, but also contributes to creating a public, transparent, and friendly judiciary, meeting the requirements of judicial reform in the new situation.
At the People's Court of Region 4, professional software such as case management system, digital file digitization, online trial, electronic information portal, or online public services have been deployed synchronously, helping people save time, costs and reduce pressure on the judiciary.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, in Phu Luong commune, shared: I think that publishing the verdict on the Court's electronic information portal helps us, the people, to grasp the full content of a case without having to directly attend the trial.
Not only stopping at applying technology, digital transformation also creates a modern working environment for court staff: Processing work on digital platforms, electronic storage, smart courtrooms... Thereby improving discipline, professionalism and trial quality.
Digital transformation at the People's Court of Region 4 is gradually proving its effectiveness: shortening the processing time, reducing backlog, enhancing transparency, and expanding access to justice for all people. This is the inevitable direction in the process of building a modern judiciary that serves the people.
Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh, Judge of the People's Court of Region 4, said: In the coming time, we will continue to carry out digital transformation well in professional activities. However, to improve the efficiency of digital transformation , the Supreme People's Court will gradually complete the system and hold training sessions for court officials.
In 2025, the People's Court of Region 4 resolved 754/774 cases of all kinds, reaching a general rate of 97.4%, and published 646 legally effective judgments and decisions on the Electronic Information Portal. 100% of civil servants with judicial titles interacted with virtual assistants; 100% of received and resolved files were updated to the People's Court's Case Management software.
One of the breakthrough highlights is that many online court sessions have been organized, especially online criminal and civil court sessions connected to many points, which have been highly appreciated for their quality and efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh, Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 4, said: Currently, 100% of Judges and Secretaries at the unit have used, asked questions, received answers and actively interacted with the virtual assistant software. Sending judgments and decisions to relevant individuals, agencies and organizations is guaranteed. All activities are carried out in a closed process, ensuring much more convenience than the previous manual process.
Digital transformation is creating a strong step forward in the activities of the Court sector in general and the People's Court of Region 4 in particular. This is also an important foundation towards building a smart Court in the near future.
