On January 9, at Da Nang Military Port, soldiers of the Naval Region 3 Command together packed and transported Tet gift boxes onto ship 390 - Naval Region 3, waiting to cross the waves to reach officers, soldiers, and people in the island region.
Like previous years, the Tet At Ty 2025 gifts cannot lack sticky rice, dong leaves, pork, cakes, jams and essential items.
This year, the trip to visit and wish a happy new year to officers, soldiers and people in the two island districts of Con Co and Ly Son is expected to take place from January 9 to January 12, 2025.
Soldier Nguyen Tuan Vu (Brigade 172, Naval Region 3) shared: "This is the first year I celebrate Tet at the unit. I am very happy because I can personally prepare gifts to send to my comrades and comrades on the remote islands. I hope these gifts will bring joy and warmth, helping everyone have a complete Tet."
The gifts sent to Con Co and Ly Son islands were contributed by organizations, businesses, individuals and localities on the mainland.
On this occasion, Naval Region 3 prepared and delivered many Tet gifts from the Ministry of National Defense , the Navy, the Regional Command and agencies and units under the region to officers, soldiers and forces performing tasks on the two outpost islands and at sea.
At the same time, the unit donated hundreds of life jackets and national flags to fishermen on the two island districts.

These gifts not only have material value but also contain sentiments sent from the mainland to the soldiers at the forefront to firmly hold their guns and protect the peace of the country.
Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Naval Region 3 - said that this visit and New Year greetings to Con Co and Ly Son island districts is an activity demonstrating solidarity between local Party committees, authorities, armed forces and people, and the Navy.
"The agencies of Naval Region 3 and the officers and soldiers of ship 390 will try their best under possible conditions to ensure a successful trip.
This is also an opportunity for delegates to better understand the situation of the sea and islands, as well as the lives and work of officers and soldiers here," Mr. Tien shared.
