Charity trip full of love on April 30th of Hanoi Moi Newspaper
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Hanoi Moi Newspaper, together with relevant parties and sponsors, organized the April Charity Trip in Duc Hue District, Long An Province.

The event was held at the Long An Province Revolutionary Relic Site located in Binh Hoa Commune, Duc Hue District, Long An Province. This is the place that marks the activities of the insurgents at the Mop Xanh base during the resistance war against France and the Long An Provincial Party Committee base during the resistance war against the US and was recognized as a National Historical Relic in 1998, one of the red addresses that contributed to educating revolutionary traditions for generations of Long An people. A total of 90 gifts were presented (including 500,000 VND in cash and 200,000 VND in gifts) to policy households in the area. Ms. Thuy Vy, representative of Ganghwhoo Cosmetic Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City), one of the program sponsors, gave gifts to the people. Ms. Ho Bach Tuyet, Deputy Permanent Member of the Liaison Committee of Long An Province's Association of Fellow Countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City, presented gifts to the people. Members of the Long An Association in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of the Southern student group of Long An province also participated in the charity trip. On the same afternoon, at My Thanh Dong Secondary School, Duc Hue District, the Organizing Committee of the April Affection Program organized a gift and material giving ceremony for 30 poor students who have overcome difficulties of the school (each gift included 700,000 VND in cash and gifts). Ms. Tran Thu Hoai, representative of Binh Minh Footwear Company Limited, presented the school with 150 pairs of sports shoes to serve the teaching and learning needs of teachers and students of the school. The students were excited to receive new shoes. Representatives of the Long An Association in Ho Chi Minh City took a souvenir photo with teachers of My Thanh Dong Secondary School. Previously, the April Love Volunteer Group visited the exhibition booths in the Long An Province Revolutionary Traditional Relic Site (Binh Thanh base relic). The old Binh Thanh base was also the place where many Party and State leaders and military generals worked during the two resistance wars against France and the US. Here, the delegation was introduced to the heroic tradition of fighting against foreign invaders of the people of Long An in particular and the people of the South in general during the resistance wars against the French and the Americans to save the country.
