After the first leg, the two sides drew 2-2. According to the regulations of the 2024-2025 Southeast Asian Cup, the away goals rule will not be applied in the knockout round matches. If the two sides continue to draw in the second leg (regardless of the score), the match will go into extra time.
If the two extra periods still end in a draw, Buriram United and CAHN will decide the winner by penalty shootout.
