Da Nang Club will compete with HAGL in round 24 of V-League 2024 - 2025, taking place at 5:00 p.m. on May 23 at Pleiku Stadium.

After 23 matches, Da Nang FC has 20 points, standing at the bottom of the table. Although they have the same points as the second-to-last team Binh Dinh (13th place, meaning they have a ticket to the play-off), coach Le Duc Tuan and his team have played one more match than their opponents.

Foreign referees continuously on duty in V-League

In some matches that directly affect the championship and relegation race this season, VPF has hired foreign referees and referee teams to officiate the matches as well as sit in the VAR room.

For example, the recent match between Hanoi FC and Nam Dinh FC at Hang Day Stadium was officiated by two Malaysian FIFA referees, Muhammad Izzul Fikri Kamaruzaman and Razlan Joffri Bin Ali.

Or in round 19, two Thai FIFA referees Warintorn and Mongkolchai Pechsri participated in the match between Thanh Hoa and The Cong Viettel .

To stay in the league, Da Nang FC must win the remaining matches to keep their hopes alive, starting with a trip to Pleiku to play against HAGL. Meanwhile, HAGL has 27 points after 23 matches, 7 points above the danger zone and is almost certain to stay in the league. In the first leg, the two teams drew 1-1.
