Ninh Binh Club borrows Van Thanh: Spanish coach has another good player

Ninh Binh Club signed a contract with Van Thanh this afternoon (July 25) on loan from CAHN Club.

After signing a contract extension with Hanoi Police Club (CAHN Club) at the end of last season, defender Vu Van Thanh has continued to make changes in his career.

Specifically, Van Thanh joined Ninh Binh Club this season on loan from CAHN Club. The player born in 1996 will join the V-League rookie to become the main force on the right wing.

Van Thanh joined CAHN Club from HAGL in the 2023 season. Here, he won the first V-League championship in his career. After 3 seasons, the 29-year-old defender played 70 matches in all competitions, scoring 7 goals. Van Thanh's luggage is experience, as he played for the Vietnamese national team for 9 years, winning the AFF Cup 2024 championship.

Before recruiting Van Thanh, Ninh Binh Club already owned Janclesio, a familiar name to V-League fans. He joined Becamex TP.HCM (new name of Becamex Binh Duong ) from Hong Linh Ha Tinh at the beginning of the 2023-2024 season and quickly asserted his position as a reliable stopper in the defense of the team from Thu Dau Mot. Last season, Janclesio played 21 matches, scoring 1 goal.

Ninh Binh Club also successfully recruited Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan, Dung Quang Nho from HAGL. With a very strong squad of players, winning the first division championship last season with 19 wins and 1 draw, Ninh Binh Club is a formidable force in the V-League this season.

Ninh Binh Club is in Da Nang to participate in an international friendly tournament. Coach Gerard Albadalejo and his team tied 2-2 with Korean Students and lost 0-2 to Da Nang.
