Ho Chi Minh City Club: Mano Polking can still compete for a position with Coach Park

Responding to Dan Tri reporters this afternoon (November 25), the leader of Ho Chi Minh City Club said: "It will be next week at the earliest before we can finalize a new coach for the team."

"Currently, we have not closed our own opportunities in negotiating with coaches Mano Polking and Chung Hae Seong, not just negotiating with coach Park Hang Seo," the leader of HCMC Club added.

It is known that Ho Chi Minh City FC wants to sign contracts with two coaches Park Hang Seo and Lee Young Jin at the same time (Mr. Park will be the Technical Director, and Mr. Lee will be the Head Coach). However, according to the city team, Coach Park Hang Seo's representative wants Ho Chi Minh City FC to only sign with Coach Lee Young Jin first.

This has caused the HCMC Club and the representative of Coach Park Hang Seo to still not find a common voice.

According to the disclosure from the HCMC Club, after parting ways with Coach Vu Tien Thanh, this team wants to find a new foreign coach. In fact, they have negotiated with Coach Park Hang Seo's team as well as with Coach Mano Polking (with dual German and Brazilian citizenship).

Coaches Mano Polking and Chung Hae Seong are no strangers to Ho Chi Minh City FC, having previously led the city team. Mr. Chung Hae Seong took charge of Ho Chi Minh City FC from 2019 to 2020.

Meanwhile, coach Mano Polking led Ho Chi Minh City Club from late 2020 to mid-2021.

"Up to now, the above coaches have equal chances of leading Ho Chi Minh City Club. We will decide next week," the leader of Ho Chi Minh City Club affirmed.

That also means that Coach Park Hang Seo is no longer the only priority of Ho Chi Minh City Club in choosing a new "captain", up to the present time.
