The first round of the online contest "Pride of Vietnam" was jointly organized by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee from March 8 to March 29.
The content of the contest on Vietnamese history from 1945 to present focuses on the process of building, protecting and developing the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam . In particular, it emphasizes key historical events in the process of fighting for independence and national unification.
Besides, there are great achievements in 50 years of building and developing the country; great orientations of the Party and General Secretary To Lam to bring the country into a new era, an era of rising up of the Vietnamese people.
With that meaning, the Organizing Committee determined that the Vietnam Pride Contest is not only a knowledge playground, but also a journey to connect national spirit; at the same time, fostering love for the homeland, nurturing revolutionary ideals for today's and future generations.

The Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Pride Contest has quickly spread throughout the country, attracting the attention and active participation of a large number of cadres, party members, union members, youth and people from all walks of life. After 3 weeks of implementation, the Contest has attracted more than 1.5 million registrants with over 3 million entries. Of which, more than 1.2 million entries were made via the Reporter Electronic Information page of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; more than 1.8 million entries were made via the Vietnam Youth mobile application of the Central Youth Union.
These impressive numbers demonstrate the strong appeal of a Contest on national history and core values that our Party has cultivated throughout the process of building and developing the country. The Organizing Committee has selected 10 collectives and 48 individuals with outstanding achievements to participate in the first round of the Vietnam Pride Online Contest to present awards.

As a result, teacher Vo Thi Ngoc Anh - Teacher of Sao Mai Kindergarten (Loc Ngai commune, Bao Lam district) and teacher Diep Phuong Khanh - Lecturer of Da Lat Tourism College excelled over the remaining contestants to win First Prize at the Vietnam Pride Contest.
According to teacher Dang Thi Duyen - Principal of Sao Mai Kindergarten (Loc Ngai commune), with nearly 15 years of working in the profession, teacher Vo Thi Ngoc Anh has always been a shining example of love for the profession and children. Teacher Ngoc Anh always upholds the spirit of self-study, creativity and has achieved many high achievements in teaching such as many consecutive years of being awarded the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and excellent teacher at the school and district levels; local authorities and the industry have repeatedly awarded her.
During the teaching process, teacher Ngoc Anh always takes children as the center to organize many activities suitable to the spirit of "learning while playing, playing while learning". Thereby, helping children to both have fun and be educated about good things and right reasons, contributing to the development of thinking, active learning, discovery and creativity in children.
