For many years, Mr. Do has been an active member and a typical example of the local farmer movement of good production and business. Currently, Mr. Do has a shrimp farm with a water surface area of ​​up to 18 hectares. In recent years, when the trend of raising shrimp in 2 stages in greenhouses became popular, he also invested in building 2,000m2 of greenhouses to increase productivity. Mr. Do said: Every year, 3 crops, Mr. Do harvests about 60 tons of shrimp, after deducting expenses, the profit is about 1 billion VND. The effective operation of Mr. Do's family shrimp farming model is also creating jobs for nearly a dozen local workers with an average income of about 8 million VND/month.

Also one of many typical farmers who are good at production and business, Mr. Ninh Van Trang, Dap Thanh commune (Ba Che district) is known as an example of a determined farmer. Not only has he enriched himself, Mr. Trang has helped many ethnic minority households in Ba Che district have a prosperous economic life thanks to the development of the yellow flower tea medicinal herb growing area. Currently, Mr. Trang has established a business specializing in providing seeds, purchasing and processing yellow flower tea, contributing to making this precious medicinal herb a 5-star OCOP product with stable output and a nationwide consumption market. The annual revenue of the enterprise owned by Mr. Trang is from 1-1.5 billion VND after deducting expenses.

Mr. Ninh Van Trang's golden flower tea production facility in Dap Thanh commune, Ba Che district is creating jobs for many ethnic minority farmers in the area.

Not only traditional farmers, a class of young - modern - creative farmers is also rising strongly. Ms. Nguyen Mai Phuong, Bac Son ward (Uong Bi city) is a pioneer in applying high technology to cultivating cordyceps mushrooms. The enterprise owned by her is producing 10 lines of cordyceps mushrooms and wine, with 7 products meeting 3 and 4 star OCOP standards, affirming the high-tech agricultural brand with the strong mark of Quang Ninh.

Unleashing the inner power of the community

Not only competing in good production and business, the movements "Farmers join hands to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Farmers participate in ensuring national defense and security, maintaining security and order" ... also received the active response and participation of members and farmers. From here, many typical examples with many meaningful models and actions have emerged, creating a strong spread in the community. A typical example is Mr. Ly Boi Hung, a farmer member of Quang La commune (Ha Long city). Responding to the program of building new rural areas in the locality, Mr. Hung donated 12,000 bricks and 5 tons of cement to build some new rural roads in the commune; at the same time, participated in green Sundays launched by the grassroots Farmers' Association... Or like Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy, Yen Tho ward (Dong Trieu city) who helped 5 poor households, supported seeds, capital and guided vegetable growing techniques for 25 households to grow safe vegetables to supply to the market. In addition, Ms. Quy also actively participated in activities to visit and encourage families with meritorious services, support the local fund for the poor, support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses... with a total donation of nearly 100 million VND.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association: In the period of 2020-2025, the whole province has nearly 308,800 households registering to compete in good production and business, with 81,100 households achieving the title; of which, many households have achieved incomes from 500 million VND to over 1 billion VND/year. Over the past 5 years, members and farmers in the whole province have also competed, contributing nearly 215,700m² of land, more than 50,000 working days, participating in repairing nearly 800km of roads and intra-field canals. The models of "Self-managed farmer routes", "Beautiful houses, clean roads, clean fields" have been widely deployed, contributing to 96% of residential areas achieving the title of culture, 95% of households meeting the standards of cultural families.

It is from these advanced examples and creative models that the emulation movement has spread strongly, adding confidence and motivation for the farmers of Quang Ninh to increasingly confidently integrate, creating new vitality for the rural areas of Quang Ninh in the period of innovation. Thanks to the good implementation of emulation movements, in the past 5 years, there have been 3 Labor Medals, 21 Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, 1 emulation flag from the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and more than 600 Certificates of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, the Provincial Farmers' Association... awarded to collectives, cadres and members of farmers in the whole province.

The Provincial People's Committee honors typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

Looking forward to the 2025-2030 period, the Association at all levels continues to identify the emulation movement as a driving force for development, a bridge between the Party, the State and farmers, while focusing on innovating the content and methods of organization, improving the quality of commendation work, promptly discovering and honoring advanced models and examples. On the solid foundation that has been built, with new momentum and new motivation, Quang Ninh farmers will continue to confidently integrate, develop, and accompany in building an increasingly civilized and prosperous homeland.
