Delegates said that many countries consider aerospace and UAVs as strategic technology industries, while in Vietnam, the low-level economic potential is estimated to reach 10 billion USD.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Vice President of Vietnam Aviation, Space, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Network, said about the industry development policy: It is necessary to conduct sandbox experiments, build industrial parks to attract international investment, and at the same time demonstrate political determination in international cooperation.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang - Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy, Ministry of Construction, commented: "Domestic technology companies have the ability to develop this field, but need comprehensive support policies to promote research and master some key technologies."

The forum recorded many proposals on building a policy framework, developing low-altitude airspace management infrastructure, and promoting research and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV/UAM) to serve socio-economic fields.
