Real estate stocks face difficulties, securities fall nearly 30 points

(Dan Tri) - Red covers the entire market, the large-cap stock group VN30 also faces strong downward pressure.

The stock market today (October 31) continued to be gloomy and made strong adjustments. Red appeared at the beginning of the trading session, and many stocks fell sharply in the afternoon. At the end of the session, the VN-Index fell nearly 30 points, the index was around 1,639 points. Liquidity on the HoSE floor was low, around VND27,670 billion.

The VN30 large-cap stocks were under strong selling pressure, taking away nearly 40 points from the general index. This group also had 21 stocks falling in price, only 8 stocks increasing. The stocks with the biggest decline were those related to Vingroup such as VIC, VHM; followed by those related to billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, including HDB and VJC.

During the market correction session, HoSE still witnessed 11 stocks hitting the ceiling. Notably, some stocks have increased to the limit for many consecutive sessions, such as LDG and DAT.

Regarding LDG (LDG Investment Company), the company recently sent a report to HoSE about the appeal judgment related to the Tan Thinh Residential Area project ( Dong Nai ). Accordingly, the appeal court recommended that competent State management agencies continue to review the documents and promptly complete legal procedures for this project in accordance with legal regulations.

Real estate stocks are still facing difficulties today as many stocks fell sharply by over 6% (CEO, VIC, VHD); some stocks hit the floor (CRV, LMH, PVR) and many others were in the red.

Foreign investors continued to net sell today with a value of more than 457 billion VND. Codes that were strongly net sold were VIC, VHM, VTG, MBB, HPG.
