Teacher and student 'cried like rain' at the moment of farewell to school days

On the morning of May 26, the closing ceremony and farewell ceremony for 12th grade students of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School ( Hanoi ) took place with many emotions.

In the cool weather, grade 12 students happily took pictures together, saving memories before the moment of parting.

The moment the school gate closed, students stood in line, waving goodbye to their teachers. Their 12-year journey of studying in high school had now come to an end.

The teachers standing inside the gate could not hide their emotions at this moment. Many could not hold back their tears.

Suddenly, the school gate opened again. Hundreds of students rushed to hug their beloved teachers who had guided them for many years.

Ms. Tran Thi My Dung (homeroom teacher of class 12AL3) burst into tears in the arms of her students. "After a long time together, I really have to say goodbye to them here. This is also a very special class, as they are the first batch of students to fully complete 12 years of the school's international academic program," Ms. Dung shared.

Nam Khanh gave his best friend hugs and wishes before the important exam.

Taking advantage of the little time left at the closing ceremony, teachers and students signed each other's shirts and wrote each other's notes.

Minh Duc received many congratulations from his friends for passing his first choice at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV). "I believe that I will do well in the upcoming exam," the male student said.

Khang Thinh took the opportunity to play Duc Nam the last songs while sitting under the royal poinciana trees in the schoolyard.

Students gathered around, smiling and taking photos with Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Principal of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School. All the most touching memories and moments of a farewell season will be kept here, under the roof of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School," Ms. Thuy said.
