The Symphonic Anime concert held last night at the Opera House left a lot of excitement for Japanese anime fans.
"The Symphony Orchestra broke all barriers to bring to the young audience a night of music full of youthful imagery and emotion, touching the hearts of all audiences who love performing arts combined with Japanese animated music . It is a borderless cultural exchange of Asian cultures, though different, with many similarities.
Concert Symphonic Anime is a clear proof that the pinnacle of art is not something too lofty, it is simply conquering the hearts of the audience," said Mr. Bao Anh, Artistic Director of the Saigon Symphony Orchestra.
Symphonic Anime Vietnam Arc takes place at the Opera House on the evening of September 6.
Symphonic Anime is one of the most popular concert series of Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, loved by millions of music and anime fans around the world . This concert has originated from the melodies that made up the childhood of the 8x, 9x, and even later generations.
The show has vividly recreated some of the background music and songs from famous Japanese anime series. All have been harmoniously and creatively coordinated for the symphony orchestra and choir to create familiar yet extremely new melodies.
The concert was sold out.
Cartoon soundtracks have never been so majestic and lively. With 150 artists and choirs, they revived the "children" full of passion, desire, love, friendship and dreams that had "slept". The concert truly revived the youthful spirit of each audience.
In previous Symphonic Anime performances, many famous composers have appeared as special guests, contributing to the success of the program. Names such as: Yoshihisa Hirano (Hunter x Hunter 2011), Kaoru Wada (Inuyasha), Taku Iwasaki (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann), Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail), Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia), and Makoto Miyazaki (One Punch Man) have brought special musical experiences to the audience.

In Vietnam, the Saigon Symphony Orchestra (SPO) has collaborated with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanying the Hanoi Opera House to bring the Symphonic Anime concert to Vietnam.
This is an important step, marking the cooperation and importance of bringing Symphonic Anime to music and anime fans in our country. This show is called Symphonic Anime Vietnam Arc as a tribute dedicated to Vietnamese audiences.
It is known that the show starts at 7:30 p.m. on September 6-7, 2023 at the Hanoi Opera House with no empty seats left.
