(GLO)-On the morning of June 6, delegates of the People's Councils at 3 levels of Gia Lai province had a meeting with voters at the People's Committee of Ia Peng commune (Phu Thien district) before the regular mid-year meeting of the People's Councils at all levels in 2025.

Attending the meeting with voters were the delegation of the Provincial People's Council of Phu Thien district, including Mr. Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Pham Van Luong - Member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; delegates of Phu Thien district People's Council and delegates of Ia Peng commune People's Council.

At the meeting, voters heard the representative of the Provincial People's Council delegation announce the results of the 25th and 26th thematic sessions and the expected time, agenda and content of the mid-year regular session of the 12th Provincial People's Council in 2025; report the results of the thematic sessions of the District People's Council, expected time, agenda and content of the mid-year regular session of the 4th District People's Council and the Ia Peng Commune People's Council in 2025, combined with responses to voters' opinions and recommendations at previous voter meetings.

In the spirit of democracy, voters have sent 6 opinions and recommendations to the People's Council delegates at 3 levels regarding the following contents: it is necessary to strictly control sand mining, avoid consequences such as riverbank erosion, noise pollution affecting people's lives; pay attention to investing in infrastructure development in the commune; upgrade degraded intra-village and intra-field roads that are often flooded during the rainy season; invest in concrete roads to the water wharf area of ​​So Ma Hang A village, creating favorable conditions for the restoration of the water wharf worship ceremony, preserving the culture of local ethnic minorities.
