Gia Lai Police donated more than 650 million VND to victims of storm Yagi.

On the afternoon of September 14, information from Gia Lai Provincial Police said that the total amount of money that officers and soldiers of Gia Lai Provincial Police donated to people in the flood area affected by storm No. 3 was more than 650 million VND.

Earlier, on the morning of September 12, Major General Rah Lan Lam - Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police presided over the launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3. During the ceremony, the Provincial Police raised more than 94 million VND.

According to Gia Lai Provincial Police, the donation and support is to help people affected by storms and floods, and to show gratitude and support to police officers and soldiers who sacrificed or were injured while on duty, and to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The movement was launched to promote the tradition of mutual love and support, "self-sacrifice for the country, service to the people" of the People's Public Security force, with a spirit of urgency, practicality and efficiency.

In addition, the Provincial Police are also ready to provide support when required and maintain security and order in the area in all situations; proactively carry out rescue operations, including plans to provide support when required. Grasp the area, ensure absolute safety of dams, low-lying areas, underground spillways, and vulnerable areas at risk of flooding to warn people not to go to dangerous and unsafe areas; do not let criminals take advantage of storms, natural disasters to operate, causing insecurity and disorder; and proactively come up with plans to overcome the consequences.

With the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the rich help the poor", units of the Provincial Police and local Police in Gia Lai province continue to mobilize officers and soldiers to voluntarily donate to support people affected by storm No. 3 ( Yagi ).
