Lam Dong Police organizes a journey back to the roots for children of officers and soldiers with academic achievements

Lam Dong Provincial Police Delegation visits Sen Village - Uncle Ho's paternal hometown in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An

The trip was led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thang - Deputy Head of the Political Affairs Department and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tri Truong - Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Provincial Police . The trip included 7 outstanding students, children of officers and soldiers currently working at the Lam Dong Provincial Police.

In the meaningful atmosphere of May, the children visited many historical sites associated with Uncle Ho's childhood such as Hoang Tru village (maternal hometown), Sen village (paternal hometown) and Chung Son Temple - the place to worship President Ho Chi Minh's ancestors in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

At each destination, the children were introduced to simple but valuable historical relics, thereby understanding more about his noble life and his great contributions to the nation.

The activity of visiting Uncle Ho's hometown is one of the meaningful activities deployed by Lam Dong Provincial Police on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), thereby contributing to widely spreading Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style throughout the force.

Students with excellent academic achievements are children of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police Department visiting Uncle Ho's hometown.
