T&T People's Police won the men's team championship of the 2025 Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship

In the final match of the men's team event, all three pairs witnessed overwhelming victories of the players of the People's Public Security T&T 1 against the reigning champion of Hanoi 1. The first pair was the competition between SEA Games champion Dinh Anh Hoang (CAND T&T 1) and Do Manh Luong (Hanoi 1). Although Manh Luong performed quite well at the beginning, with experience and courage, Anh Hoang won 3-0 with the scores of 14-12, 11-6 and 11-9.

The second match between Le Dinh Duc (CAND T&T 1) and Nguyen Anh Tu (Hanoi 1) also ended with a similar score of 3-0 (11-7, 13-11, 12-10) for the player of CAND T&T 1. In the third match, Ta Hong Khanh (CAND T&T 1) continued to overwhelm Do Tuan Kiet (Hanoi 1) to win 3-0 (11-9, 11-6, 11-5).

In the end, CAND T&T 1 defeated Hanoi 1 with a score of 3-0 to win the gold medal in the men's team event, successfully paying off the debt from last year's final match. According to coach Phan Huy Hoang - in charge of the T&T People's Police men's team, the key to victory was Dinh Duc's performance against Anh Tu.

"Last year, CAND T&T lost 2-3 to Hanoi due to Anh Tu's superior strength. However, in this year's final, our Dinh Duc excellently defeated Anh Tu, creating a strong mental boost for the whole team to win the match," he shared.

In addition, in the women's team final, team HCMC 1 won against Hai Duong Long Hai 1 with a score of 3-0.
