9X female village leaders work with villagers to build villages and develop the economy

Knac village (Buon Triet commune, Lak district, Dak Lak ) has 128 households, more than 500 people, mainly Ede ethnic people. This is a particularly difficult village. Traffic infrastructure is limited, production land area is small, many backward customs still exist.

Ms. H'Huong Hmok propagates and mobilizes people to build villages and develop the economy.

Ms. H'Huong Hmok (born in 1993), a prestigious person in Knăc village, realized that bad customs were holding people back in a cycle of poverty. She encouraged people to eliminate bad customs, focus on preserving and promoting the national cultural identity, and work together to build the village and develop the economy.

Not letting the economy depend on a certain type of plant, she encourages people to diversify their livelihood models, taking advantage of the advantages to develop livestock and poultry. She guides people in livestock raising techniques and disease prevention in livestock. Contributing to raising people's awareness in stages such as barn hygiene and disease prevention.

By exploiting the potential advantages of land and transforming the structure of crops and livestock towards improving economic efficiency, people's lives have gradually improved. Many families in the village have accumulated resources and have continued to expand the scale of livestock farming, gradually becoming rich.

In addition, Ms. H'Huong, together with all levels of the industry, actively propagated and mobilized people to contribute funds and labor days to build roads and concretize canals.

Now, Knac village has changed a lot, the roads are concreted, electricity is brought to every house, many families have built spacious and solid houses, people's lives are gradually improving.

Together, people build a healthy cultural life, practice civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, eliminate social evils, superstitions, and bad customs. Up to now, Knăc hamlet has been recognized as a cultural hamlet, nearly 90% of households in the hamlet have achieved the title of cultural family. Behind these changes, is the persistent propaganda and mobilization efforts of this 9X female leader.

Like Ms. H'Huong Hmok, the female head of H'Poh Ong village (born in 1991, Dak Nue commune, Lak district) has made many contributions to help people develop the economy. She is loved and trusted by the people.

Ms. H'Poh Ong diligently went to each household to propagate to the people.

Ms. H'Poh Ong shared that in remote villages, the role of ethnic minority women cadres at the grassroots level is increasingly promoted in propagating and mobilizing people to do business and build a civilized and progressive life.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law, Dalat University, unable to find a suitable job, she returned to her hometown to work on the farm with her family. Seeing her fellow villagers working hard all year round but their lives were still difficult, she wanted to contribute part of her youth to change the village life.

She researches to help people overcome obstacles. She diligently goes to poor households to encourage them to change their crop and livestock structure.

Ms. H'My Pang Ting, a resident of Dlei village (Dak Nue commune, Lak district) said that her family has more than 1 hectare of agricultural land, and has only produced monoculture coffee trees in the traditional way. When the head of the village, H'Poh Ong, shared his experience of intercropping durian in the coffee garden and instructed her on how to care for it, she followed suit. Her garden has yielded high yields and quality. Now in the village, there are many households doing agriculture with high economic efficiency.

Ms. H'Poh Ong guides and supports people in applying science and technology to agricultural production.

With his youth and thorough training, the head of Dlei H'Poh Ong village is proficient in information technology, quickly accessing documents, when communicating to people in meetings, people can easily understand, contributing to building relationships in the community, strengthening solidarity among ethnic groups in the village.
