Warning of flash floods and landslides in Tuyen Quang

In the next 6 hours, there is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to flash floods, landslides, subsidence due to heavy rain or level 1 flow.

Heavy rains have flooded many roads in the province; overloaded the urban drainage system, causing flooding in residential areas, affecting people's lives and causing damage to property.

Heavy rain caused flooding at Km23 of National Highway 2 from Tuyen Quang to Ha Giang, making traffic difficult.

To minimize damage to people and property and proactively respond to the developments of floods, Tuyen Quang province directed localities to proactively take response measures, ensuring absolute safety of people's lives and property.

Localities organize inspections and reviews of areas at high risk of flash floods, landslides, riverbank and stream erosion, and low-lying areas that are frequently flooded; proactively organize the relocation and evacuation of people from areas at high risk of landslides, flash floods, and flooding.
