Scientific seminar "Writer Phan Tu - Creativity and Heritage"

Representatives of the school leaders, leaders and writers of the Vietnam Writers Association in Da Nang, the Da Nang City Writers Association; writer Phan Tu's family, along with many students and lecturers from the faculties: Literature-Communication; History-Geography -Politics ; Art Education-Physical Education attended the event.

The seminar aims to commemorate and pay tribute to writer Phan Tu - one of the great writers of modern Vietnamese literature, so that researchers, lecturers, students, and literature lovers can meet, exchange, and together explore the ideological and artistic values in the literary heritage that writer Phan Tu left behind.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, Rector of Da Nang University of Education delivered the opening speech.

In his opening speech at the seminar, Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, Principal of Da Nang University of Education, briefly introduced the biography of writer Phan Tu.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh believes that this is not only an opportunity to pay tribute to a great name in Vietnamese literature, but also an opportunity to sow in the hearts of the young generation the seeds of life, creativity, and civic responsibility; at the same time, the Scholarship Fund named after writer Phan Tu will kindle in students creative inspiration, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the ideal of a beautiful life, and the desire to devote themselves to the community.

At the Seminar, academic presentations by lecturers from Da Nang University of Education, writers, poets, and literary critics in Da Nang approached Phan Tu's literary career from many perspectives, from the poetics of war novels, the narrative style of the writer-soldier, to documentation and memoirs in post-war works.

The presentations and discussions deeply analyzed the works and literary legacy of writer Phan Tu, and at the same time offered many interesting insights into the legacy he left behind.

Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City Nguyen Nho Khiem spoke.

The opinions of poet Thanh Que, poet Le Anh Dung - those who directly contributed to introducing and compiling Phan Tu's posthumous works, and many other speakers provided delegates at the Seminar with a portrait of Phan Tu, not only as a writer, but also as a comrade, friend, and exemplary leader of literature and arts.

At the Seminar, the poem "Thinking about Phan Tu" by poet Bui Cong Minh was also presented through the emotional voice of student Nguyen Yen Nhi.

Within the framework of the Seminar, the school leaders also awarded the Scholarship Fund named after writer Phan Tu to 15 excellent students from the faculties of Literature-Communication; History-Geography-Politics; Art-Physical Education.
