Hue City awards prizes to 47 creative topics for youth and children in 2025

Attending the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the contest were Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the city, along with many students and authors and groups of authors who won prizes at the contest.

Held annually, the City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest has aroused the potential and promoted the creative thinking of youth and children across the city; directing youth activities towards jobs that are useful to society.

At the same time, the contest helps children improve their knowledge, practice creative skills, and build "The dream of becoming a future inventor".

According to the Organizing Committee of the contest, after 18 times of organization, there have been thousands of topics participating in the contest at the grassroots, district, and town levels and 1,778 topics have been introduced to participate in the city-level contest; 718 topics have been awarded; 42 topics have won national prizes and 3 topics have won international prizes.

The contest has been promoting the achieved results, becoming a useful activity for children and teenagers, at the same time opening up a new form of teaching and learning, learning activities in schools must be closely linked to reality, research and creativity, helping children get acquainted with the thinking methods and working methods of scientists .

In 2025, 187 topics were selected from 9 districts, towns, high schools, colleges, and clubs to participate in the city competition with 5 competition areas, including: learning supplies (43 topics); computer software (24 topics); environmentally friendly products (54 topics); household appliances and children's toys (30 topics); technical solutions to protect the environment, respond to climate change and develop the economy (36 topics).

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to the winning authors and groups of authors at the contest.

At the closing and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee decided to award prizes to 47 winning entries, including 1 Special Prize, 5 First Prizes, 7 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes and 24 Encouragement Prizes for authors and groups of authors.

This year's Special Prize was awarded to the group of authors Vo Tran Minh Thu and Le Phuong Anh from Hai Ba Trung High School (Hue City) with the topic "Designing and digitizing relics and artifacts to preserve and promote the cultural values ​​of Champa for high school students in Hue City".

In order to recognize the contributions of the instructors, the Organizing Committee awarded commemorative medals to the teachers whose topics won prizes. In addition, the Organizing Committee also commended and awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups that had outstanding achievements in implementing and promoting the contest.

The Organizing Committee awarded Second Prize to the authors and groups of authors who won prizes at the contest.

After the closing and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee also officially launched the 19th Hue City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2026 and called for the participation and active response of a large number of youth and children to create a movement of scientific and technological innovation, helping them to promote creative thinking, continuously study to contribute to a better future.
