Bai Chay Ward Police help people get back nearly 500 million mistakenly transferred

Previously, on April 27, 2025, while working in Quang Ninh, Mr. Trinh Quang Tuan (born in 1981, residing in Nghia Do ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi ) while making a money transfer transaction, due to negligence, mistakenly transferred the amount of 499,999,999 VND to an account under the name of Nguyen Tuan Binh. When he realized that he had mistakenly transferred the above amount, on October 8, 2025, Mr. Tuan went to Bai Chay Ward Police to work and get support.

After receiving the information, Bai Chay Ward Police immediately verified and coordinated with functional units to identify the account owner who received the amount of 499,999,999 VND from Mr. Trinh Quang Tuan as Mr. Nguyen Tuan Binh (born in 1969, residing at Group 11, Area 9B, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province). At 10:00 a.m. on May 9, 2025, through work, the Ward Police propagated and explained about the mistaken transfer of money to Mr. Tuan and Mr. Binh returned the money.

Touched by the spirit and responsibility of the Bai Chay Ward Police, Ha Long City, Mr. Trinh Quang Tuan shared: “This is a large amount of money for my family, I was very confused and worried when I transferred the wrong money. I am very happy and thank the officers and soldiers of Bai Chay Ward Police for quickly helping me get the money back.”

The above work has further enhanced the image of the Quang Ninh Police force and aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).
