Song Khoai Industrial Park - Amata City Ha Long was established in 2018 with a total investment area of 714 hectares. Within 7 years of development, the Industrial Park has attracted 21 FDI investment projects, with a total investment capital of nearly 3 billion USD.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company, said that the Industrial Park has completed and put into operation the 110kV Amata 1 Transformer Station with a capacity of 189MVA and the 110kV Amata 2 Transformer Station with a capacity of 126MVA.
Regarding the water supply system, Amata City Ha Long has upgraded and put into operation the Water Treatment Plant with a total capacity of 27,000m3/day and night. In addition, the Industrial Park has also put into operation the Centralized Wastewater Treatment Plant with a total capacity of 16,000m3/day.
By 2025, Amata City Ha Long has constructed and completed the internal roads of phase 1, 2 and part of phase 3, 4 of the project with a total length of 9.6km. It is expected that in 2025, the Company will continue to invest in the Amata route according to the progress of the government's land handover, striving to complete the route connecting the expressway to provincial road 331.
In addition to updating information on facilities and infrastructure serving investors, the Conference opened a discussion section to promptly resolve difficulties for businesses. Some issues on labor recruitment, developing bus routes to serve workers, developing housing for experts and workers, licensing procedures, tax policies, especially fire prevention and fighting, were discussed and answered by Amata City Ha Long and representatives of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, Department of Home Affairs, Quang Yen town, to support businesses.
At the conference, Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company and Vietnam - Korea College Quang Ninh signed a memorandum of understanding on exchange and cooperation in training to improve the quality of human resources for the Industrial Park.
