Previously, following the direction of Major General Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police, on October 30, the Provincial Police established a special working group consisting of 104 officers and soldiers along with specialized vehicles to help the people of Hue city overcome the severe consequences of the recent floods.
The delegation closely coordinated with Hue City Police and local units, deploying forces in a series of areas and locations that needed urgent cleaning and flood relief to soon return to normal operations.
The officers and soldiers focused on cleaning and completely cleaning the campus of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital; supporting the restoration of educational facilities, cleaning and washing away mud at Hue College of Tourism, Le Loi Primary School, Dang Vinh Secondary School, Huong Vinh Primary School No. 1, Huong Vinh Kindergarten and Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

The team used specialized tankers to wash, rake and collect garbage, clean key routes such as Tran Quang Khai, Hai Trieu, Hoang Quoc Viet, Truong Chinh... to help smooth urban traffic; provided support to the grassroots in Hoa Chau ward, helped people on Dang Tat street rake mud and supported single-family households in difficult circumstances to clean their houses and rearrange their household items.
This meaningful journey of support and assistance has received the love and sincere gratitude of the people as well as the government and police of Hue city.
Returning to the locality, the Quang Tri Provincial Police force immediately returned to the unit to support the people in responding to heavy rain and overcoming the consequences of floods in some low-lying areas that have been "soaked" by floodwaters for many days now.
