Viet Tu Investment, Construction and Trading Company Limited (Viet Tu Tea) is one of the pioneering enterprises in the field of production and export of organic sea tea in Vietnam. With more than 30 years of experience of artisan Ha Ngoc Quynh, each tea product not only carries the essence of nature but also reflects the creativity, sophistication and dedication in each stage of production.
Transforming the business model towards an innovative start-up is the strategic goal that the company is aiming for. With the desire to improve competitiveness and expand the international market, the company has boldly applied digital technology and AI in its communication strategy and product development, helping to reach and expand its international customer network.
Accompanying businesses on this journey is a team of experts from the Research Institute for Organization and Digital Economy (RIDE), through the Project "Supporting model transformation activities of small and medium-sized enterprises towards the development orientation of innovative startups", under Project 844 "Supporting the national innovative startup ecosystem to 2025" sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology .
This partnership has helped businesses not only apply modern technologies but also create a solid foundation for expanding Vietnamese tea products to the international market.
Within the framework of the training sessions, the team of experts helped Viet Tu Construction Investment and Trading Company Limited build an effective digital communication strategy, including creating content that meets the needs and trends of the international market.
Applying AI in content development helps companies automate part of the process of creating articles, videos , images, and advertising campaigns, saving time and resources.
AI tools are used to analyze customer data, thereby optimizing content suitable for each market segment, improving reach and increasing customer interaction with the brand.

Experts also guided the team on how to use AI to develop customer-driven communication strategies, create deep brand stories and connect emotionally with consumers.
Through support from experts, the company has initially exploited AI effectively, not only in content development but also in optimizing marketing strategies, helping the company expand its market and improve its competitiveness in the digital age.
With such a “hands-on” approach, from June 2025 to now, the Project has supported training, surveys and preliminary consultation for 25 enterprises; 15 enterprises were selected for in-depth support; of which 5 typical enterprises received 1-1 consultation, in-depth training and export connection support. These enterprises have initially innovated their business models, applied technology and effectively transformed digitally.
Among the 5 typical enterprises selected for support by the project, Van Hoa Agriculture Limited Company is one of the enterprises operating effectively in the field of production and supply of high-quality agricultural products in Thanh Hoa.
In order to promote the development process and enhance competitiveness, Van Hoa Agriculture Company has begun to transform its model towards an innovative start-up enterprise, applying digital transformation to its production and marketing strategies. In particular, the Company uses QR codes on each agricultural product, helping customers easily access detailed information with just one scan of the code.
This strategy is not only highly effective in communication but also creates opportunities for the company to introduce clean production processes, organic certifications and health benefits of the products. Integrating QR codes on packaging not only helps the company provide transparent information but also increases interaction and engagement with customers, while expanding market access opportunities through digital marketing channels.

According to Mr. Tran Nguyen Cac, Director of the Institute for Organizational and Digital Economic Research, the project aims to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of Vietnamese enterprises, helping small and medium enterprises proactively apply digital technology, innovate business models and develop in a creative and sustainable direction. Not only providing training and technical advice, the project also aims to build a long-term companionship platform between enterprises, experts and the innovation ecosystem.
The project focuses on the agri-food sector, where digital technology, AI and automation can create breakthroughs in productivity, quality and management. As a result, an innovative agricultural business community has been formed, inspiring the spirit of daring to think and daring to change in the new era.
Sharing the results, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai, Director of HN Green Farm, representative of the group of 15 enterprises receiving specialized support, said: “Based on the survey, analysis and orientation of project experts, the enterprise has effectively managed stores and farms with a complete, accurate and regularly updated database system. The accompaniment of experts has helped us completely transform the way we operate.”
From the reality of supporting businesses, Mr. Tran Nguyen Cac emphasized that digital transformation is no longer a story of technology, but a journey of changing corporate thinking and culture. Proactively approaching technology, learning spirit and maintaining human values in production are the foundation for businesses to transform in the digital age.
Mr. Tran Nguyen Cac added that the Institute for Organizational and Digital Economic Research will continue to accompany businesses on the path of sustainable development, contributing to promoting the national innovative startup ecosystem.
