Thanh Hoa police urgently evacuated people to safety

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3, the Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has directed all forces to organize 24/7 duty to proactively deploy emergency response plans, in order to ensure the safety of people's lives and property. The police force of the whole province, especially the police of communes and wards, are making every effort to strictly implement the motto "4 on-site" and "3 ready" to respond to situations caused by the storm.

In mountainous and western border communes of Thanh Hoa province, when storms occur, in addition to facing thunderstorms and tornadoes, people also have to deal with flash floods, landslides that are dangerous and threaten the safety of life and property.

To proactively respond to all situations, together with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, organizations, and armed forces, the police in mountainous and border communes proactively review and deploy propaganda measures, mobilize and support people to evacuate from vulnerable and dangerous areas to safe shelters. For those who do not voluntarily comply, the authorities will resolutely enforce and force evacuation to prevent and avoid possible risks.

In Tam Chung commune, through flood and storm prevention inspection, there were 21 households with 120 people in Suoi Long, Suoi Phai, Can, and Tan Huong villages located in dangerous areas, the authorities quickly organized the evacuation of people to safety.

In Muong Ly commune, local authorities also organized the evacuation of 131 households with 676 people in Un, Trung Tien 1, Xi Lo, Trung Thang, Xa Lung, and Sai Khao villages to safe locations.
